Furniture retailers sell tables in a handful of fixed sizes, which is a problem in UAE apartments where the dining area is often a defined zone rather than a separate room. Building to order means the table fits the space you actually have — long and narrow for an open-plan living area, round where circulation is tight, oval where you want the softness of a round table with more seats.
Because these are the same materials we fabricate bathroom surfaces from, a table can be matched to stone used elsewhere in the home.
Marble gives a table top that is genuinely one of a kind, with veining that runs the way that particular slab ran. It is the choice when the table is the centrepiece of the room.
Sintered stone is the practical alternative for a dining table in daily use. It is dense and non-porous, which makes it more forgiving of spills, heat and everyday wear than natural stone — worth considering for a family dining table or a coffee table in a busy living room.
Round, oval and rectangular are all available, in the dimensions your room needs. The base is specified separately: metal for a lighter, more contemporary look; wood for warmth; or stone where you want the table to read as a single solid piece.
Coffee tables and dining tables are both made this way. For a coffee table the height and proportion are usually set by the sofa it sits in front of, which is why we ask about the room rather than just the size.
Most tables we build are for homes — living rooms, dining areas and majlis spaces in villas and apartments. We also fabricate for interior and fit-out projects where a table needs to match stonework specified elsewhere in the scheme.

Dining tables tend to come from villas with a defined dining room — Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Jumeirah and Al Khawaneej — while coffee tables and smaller dining pieces more often go into open-plan apartments in Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Dubai Marina and on Al Reem Island, where the table has to suit a zone rather than a room. We also deliver to homes on Saadiyat Island and Yas Island, and across Al Majaz in Sharjah and Al Rawda in Ajman.
